Located in Brentwood, Essex this large underground bunker was maintained during the cold war as potential government headquarters. It was first built as an air defence station in 1952-53 as part of ROTOR (a programme set up to help improve and harden Britain’s air defence project) The bunker was able to accommodate hundreds of personnel and sustain them for up to 3 months. It was decommissioned in 1992 and sold back to the family that own the land. It is now a museum that still retains some of its original features.

Several ghostly apparitions have been regularly seen. A spooky grey figure has been seen wandering from room to room, people have described the figure as being an unusually tall elderly woman. People have also seen an RAF officer and a uniformed officer who shouts at the to leave immediately. Some people believe there is a malevolent presence in the sick bay and have seen many dark shadows around the room/ Stone throwing, loud crashes, banging, growling, noises, rotten smells and strange lights and mists have also been reported. Believed to be built close to a Bronze age site and a Roman burial site, some say that the building of the bunker disturbed these ancient sites and this may be just one of the causes to all the unexplained paranormal activity.7

Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the night. We also have our own personal medium that will be joining us for the evening. We will also provide transport to and from the event if required.
